Day 55

The day began with a love note from Buddy! He snuck out silently this morning and left it on his side of the bed.

I got up. I started some homework. Then me and my BFF, Granny Mona visited my great grandma Nieuwland this morning and helped her around the house. We spent around 3 hours in Mottley's Emporium, and then Buddy and I made Japanese.

We also got some really bad news this evening. I'm not going to be an aunt anymore. I hope Kelly is alright.

Day 53

Fun fact: Buddy is obsessed with the Punisher- a comic book character. AND

(drum roll please) I present the cutest smile in the universe!

Buddy and I decided to go out to dinner. He left his good sneakers in his work truck, and had to choose between work shoes covered in sheet rock mud and rain boots. Thank goodness he chose the dirty work shoes!

Day 49

Here lies the incinerated pot roast. May it rest in peace.

I almost burnt my house down! I attempted to cook a pot roast on the stovetop, and I left it unattended for 45 minutes. I don't know WHAT happened, but I was next door, and as soon as I walked outside I could smell burning. I walked into my house and there was so much smoke that I couldn't see in front of me. In fact, I could barely open my eyes. Needless to say, my house smells well-done, and I won't try pot roast again for quite a while!

Day 47

Buddy and I were woken up at midnight to the sound of people screaming across the road, and called 911. The response time was literally 1 minute, and there were 6 police cars there. 3 people left in an ambulance, and a bunch were arrested. I don't know what happened, but I'm glad I called!
